Pack 370 — Build Something That Lasts

Kids don’t stay little for long. Between school, sports, screens, and busy schedules, it’s easy to miss the moments that really matter.
Pack 370 is where families slow down, show up, and do something together – something that lasts.

Cub Scouting isn’t “just another activity.” It’s the rare one that brings it all together in one place:
outdoors, STEM, character, leadership, service, faith values, and family time – without needing five different sign-ups.

Here, parents aren’t sitting in the parking lot scrolling their phones. They’re beside their kids, helping with tents, sanding Pinewood Derby cars, tying knots, telling stories by campfires, and laughing when someone drops the marshmallow in the fire for the third time.

What Sets Us Apart

Pack 370 doesn’t need gimmicks – it’s strong because it’s real.

We meet in the historic heart of Titusville at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, built back in the 1880s – yes, before the Scouts even existed. Generations have grown up here. And now, every week, the sound of kids running to their Den Meetings echoes off those same church walls.

When we meet, we don’t just borrow a room — we use nearly the whole campus:

  • Scout House – our own dedicated building!

  • Church Hall  – meetings, derbies, banquets

  • Sunday School and Youth Rooms – den meetings, crafts, STEM projects

  • Outdoor Grounds – flags, games, campfire practice, s’mores, mosquito warfare

It works because it’s simple – and it’s always worked.

Campfires. Muddy boots. Flashlights thrown at mosquitoes. Prayer, laughter, and service. The same things kids loved 50 years ago… still work today.

Why Families Choose Pack 370

  • One program that does it all – STEM, outdoors, leadership, service, character, faith values, creativity

  • Family-centered – parents don’t drop off and leave; they stay and join the adventure

  • Big, vibrant, and growing – one of the largest and most active packs in the district

  • Safe and well-run – volunteers are fully trained, background-checked, and serious about exceeding national standards

  • Fun matters here – structure & safety first; then loud, messy, joyful fun

  • Affordable for everyone – we fundraise to cover most costs so no child has to sit out, and scholarships are available when needed

Rooted in St. Gabriel’s — A Church That Shows Up

Pack 370 exists because St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church doesn’t just host us – they support us.

They provide:

  • A full Scout building on campus

  • Free use of halls, classrooms, storage, and outdoor space

  • Help with events, fundraisers, and service projects

  • A safe, welcoming environment for every family – regardless of background or belief

A historic church, a historic program – both still here, because they work.

A Community That Stays

This pack isn’t something families pass through – it’s something they stay in.

At Scouting for Food this year, one family showed up to help just like they have for 18 years straight. Their kids grew from Lions to Eagle Scouts – and they’re still here, helping the next little Scouts learn how to serve.

That’s what makes Pack 370 different. This isn’t just an activity – it’s a community.

Come See It For Yourself

You don’t have to guess. Come to a meeting. Walk the campus. Meet the leaders. Watch the kids sprint toward the Scout Hut the second the doors open.

Chances are, you’ll feel it – the way things used to be… still are.
